Getting to the Netherlands and Maastricht
Maastricht can be reached in several ways; 

By plane:
With six international airports within an hour's drive, Maastricht is easily accessible from anywhere in the world.

A shuttle bus service will be available from Brussels airport (BRU) in Belgium and Düsseldorf airport (DUS) in Germany, both about 100 km from Maastricht. The shuttle service costs € 59.50 (single journey). Prior reservation is required through this link: http://www.mecc.nl/nl/airporttransfers. You can also travel by train from both airports; international train tickets can be bought online by credit card at www.nsinternational.nl/en.

Eindhoven Airport (EIN) is 100 km north west of Maastricht. A regular bus will bring you to Eindhoven Central Station in 20 min, from where frequent direct trains depart for Maastricht (duration: 1 h). Plan your combined trip at http://9292.nl/en. To travel by train, you need to buy a chipcard with which you check in and out at the train station before and after your journey. A return trip costs €37,26 (train and bus).

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is one of the biggest hubs in Europe. Schiphol railway station is situated directly below the airport. Traveling to Maastricht needs 2h 40 min (± 195 km) including one change, in Utrecht or Sittard. During the day there are at least three trains per hour; there are no trains running roughly between 10 pm and 7 am. Staff at the Ticket- and Service desks will sell chipcards and will also be able to provide you with train departure information, a return trip costs €50,40. You travel by checking in and out at the train station before and after your journey.

The nearest airport is Maastricht-Aachen Airport (MST; 9 km), serving holiday destinations through low cost carriers. There is a direct bus service to Maastricht station (once per hour). Plan your bus trip at http://9292.nl/en. A return trip will cost €7,56.

Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN) is at a convenient distance of 115 km from Maastricht, but a train journey needs >3 h and at least three changes.

By train:
Railway station “Maastricht” is 2 km away from the MECC and connects to European railways. From Maastricht station you can take the local train to Liege-Guillemins (every 30 min) and get off after only 3 min at Maastricht-Randwyck railway station. Maastricht-Randwyck is a 5 min walk away from the MECC and NH hotel. Alternatively there are city busses (lines 1 and 8) leaving Maastricht station every 10 min for the MECC (bus stop MECC Forum). By car:
Maastricht is centrally located in the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion, making it easily accessible. The A2/E25 highway runs next to the MECC, through the city. Once within the city, you can simply follow the signs indicating 'MECC'.
MECC provides ample (covered) parking around the premises. Parking tickets can be purchased in the entrance hall and cost €10 per day, regardless of duration. To participants staying in hotels that do not provide parking, we suggest to park at the MECC and use public transport to commute between hotel and conference centre (address: Forum 100, 6229 GV Maastricht).

Within Maastricht
All participants will have free access to bus transportation within the city of Maastricht upon showing their conference badge for the duration of the conference.  For a map of the buslines, please see the pdf file 'Bus map Maastricht' at the bottom of the page.
Selected hotels are all located within 3.5 km distance from the MECC and the city centre. They are connected through direct, frequent bus services with Maastricht railway station, MECC and the city centre. Plan your journey at http://9292.nl/en.
