Conference Abstracts
All abstracts presented at Rhizosphere 4 are available in PDF format. These cover the full range of parallel session topics, including symbiosis, root turnover, nutrient acquisition, signaling, the rhizosphere microbiome, climate change, food-web interactions, human pathogens in the rhizosphere, new methods and concepts, below- and above-ground interactions, water relations, and root endophytes.

Abstract Submission
Submissions for oral and poster presentations were accepted through the conference submission system. Authors were asked to follow the guidelines below when preparing their abstracts.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts were submitted electronically via the conference portal.
- Each abstract was reviewed for relevance to the conference themes.
- Authors could indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation.
- Accepted presenters were notified in advance of the conference.
Poster Guidelines
- Posters were displayed during dedicated poster sessions and poster pitches throughout the conference week.
- Presenters were responsible for printing their own posters prior to arrival.
- On-site poster printing services were available in Maastricht for those who required them.

Oral Presentation Guidelines
Oral presentations were allocated time slots within the parallel sessions. Presenters were advised to prepare slides in a standard 16:9 format and to upload their presentation files at the speaker-ready room at least two hours before their scheduled session.
