Rhizosphere 4 welcomed researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to Maastricht for five days of scientific exchange on soil ecology and rhizosphere research. Registration for the 2015 conference included access to all keynote addresses, parallel sessions, poster pitches, roundtables, and the social program.

Registration for Rhizosphere 4 is now closed. The conference took place from 21 to 25 June 2015 at the Maastricht Conference Center (MECC). The information below reflects the terms and conditions that applied to attendees.

Terms and Fees

Registration fees covered admission to the full scientific program, conference materials, the opening reception, and coffee breaks throughout the week. Separate fees applied for the conference dinner and excursions, which could be added during the registration process.

All fees were payable in advance. Participants were responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any visa-related costs.

Accommodation

Attendees arranged their own accommodation in Maastricht. A range of hotels and guesthouses were available within walking distance or a short commute from the MECC. Early booking was recommended due to high demand during the conference period.

Visa Information

International participants who required a visa to enter the Netherlands were advised to apply well in advance. The Rhizosphere 4 Secretariat provided visa invitation letters upon request to registered delegates. Requests for invitation letters were handled via the conference secretariat.

Visa Invitation Letter

To obtain an invitation letter, delegates needed to complete registration and payment before a request could be processed. The letter confirmed participation in Rhizosphere 4 and was intended to support the visa application; it did not constitute any financial obligation on the part of the organizers.
